🚀 Project Overview

The Greenvalley Public School Website serves as the digital front door for the institution. It was meticulously designed to provide students, parents, and the local community with easy access to all essential school information in a fast, modern, and beautifully designed interface.

What It Includes

• Academic Information: Detailed pages covering the curriculum, subjects, and academic achievements.
• Admissions Guide: Clear, step-by-step admission processes and downloadable resources for prospective parents.
• Campus Life & Facilities: High-quality photo galleries showcasing the library, labs, sports facilities, and school events.
• News & Announcements: A dynamic noticeboard keeping the community updated on the latest school activities and important alerts.
• Contact & Enquiries: Dynamic forms for user inquiries, directly managed from the backend.

🛡️ Secure Admin Dashboard (CMS)

A standout feature is the dedicated /secure-admin portal. This custom Content Management System empowers school administrators to dynamically manage the entire website without touching a single line of code.

• Content Management: Update Hero banners, Principal's message, and site-wide SEO settings.
• Data Handling: Manage curriculum details, admission steps, and contact form submissions.
• Media Uploads: Seamlessly upload event photos and facility images directly to Cloudflare R2.

📱 Technical Highlights & Architecture

The platform uses a robust, decoupled architecture combining the best of modern web technologies:

• Frontend (Next.js 16): Utilizes the App Router for excellent SEO and performance. State management is handled by Zustand, and styling is powered by Tailwind CSS v4.
• Backend (Django 5 & DRF): A modular API architecture with dedicated apps for academics, admissions, authentication, gallery, and school_info.
• Security First: Implements JWT authentication using HttpOnly cookies for refresh tokens, preventing XSS exposure. Axios interceptors seamlessly handle token refreshing.
• Deployment & Media: The frontend is deployed on Vercel for edge caching, while the backend is Dockerized and secured behind Cloudflare Tunnels with Nginx. All static media is stored efficiently in Cloudflare R2.

🌟 Impact

The new website dramatically improved the school's online visibility, making it easier for parents to find admissions information and for students to stay updated on upcoming events. The integrated CMS drastically reduced the turnaround time for publishing school notices.
